Despite the dreadful weather and a season dominated by cancellations the Club has had a successful but frustrating season, including winning the inaugural Phoenix Cup for Club of the Year.

Playing numbers for 2008 were 842 (including 166 in Nursery Grade).

The 2008 prize giving was held on Sunday 31 August at the Nairnville Recreation centre.

An exciting development during the 2008 season was the appointment of a full time Coaching Development Coordinator, Juan Propato in a joint initiative with Karori and North Wellington juniors.
