- Capital Football will endeavour to place
cancellations and transfers information on its website by Friday night
(but some decisions could be made later).
- All cancellations will still be broadcast on
the radio on Saturday morning: Newstalk ZB 1035AM and The Breeze 94/98AM or
891AM
- Ground transfers posted on the website on
Friday night won't be broadcast on the radio. But ground transfers made
after Friday night will be.
Please do not to ring the council hotline during the weekend for cancellations. This is a general statement regarding grounds and doesn't necessarily relate to weekend games. 1. Listen carefully for Wellington Junior Soccer.First Kicks (Nursery Grade) CancellationsEven if games were cancelled on Saturday, the weather may be OK on Sunday. The Club Nursery Grade coordinator will decide if playing conditions are acceptable - listen to Newstalk ZB 1035 AM on the half hour from 9:00 onwards for our Nursery Grade cancellation. Ground Closures during the weekCheck with the Wellington City Council on 801-4134 for ground closures during the week. If the grounds are closed then we do not practice on them. In addition if council controlled grounds are closed then school grounds are also closed - please respect our relationship with our schools and do not use school grounds if the council grounds are closed. |
