Manager

For those of you that are new to being a team manager - don't panic! This is an administration role and you don’t necessarily need to know anything about football.

We suggest the following duties (in conjunction with the team coach)
  • provide parents with a team list (names, contact numbers etc). The grade coordinator will provide you with the details
  • arrange for pickup of the team gear bag (balls, uniform etc)
  • liaise with team coach
  • advise parents/team of practice time/venue etc
  • ensure parents/team are aware of club events e.g. Club Day
  • prepare a duty roster for the team (e.g. half-time oranges, washing shirts)
  • ensure parents are aware of where to find out key information (where am I playing?, is the game cancelled?)
  • report results of your games to your grade coordinator (a text message is ideal)
  • return gear bag at end of season
